Admissions Testing Editor

We are seeking an Editor with a solid knowledge of print publishing to join our Admissions Testing Team. The ideal candidate should be degree educated and have an interest in the educational assessment sector, excellent attention to detail, as well as a can-do approach across multiple projects.

We are the major admissions testing provider to Grammar schools in the UK. We have developed admissions tests that focus on pupils’ potential to benefit from a grammar school education as opposed to how well they have been taught to date. We achieve this by designing our admissions tests to assess underlying ability and potential using curriculum neutral questions.

Our questions cover verbal, spatial and non-verbal reasoning, which are more indicative of aptitude, and where we provide attainment tests for mathematics and English, these focus on problem-solving and comprehension.

GL Assessment are the leading UK provider in what we do and growing fast internationally, at the last count we have delivered over 7 million online tests across the globe. However, this only accounts for 1% of the children in the world. Our mission is to ensure all children have the best possible start by having access to our education tools.
