Schools want to do the best for every pupil. The more they know about a pupil – the more they can find the best way to teach them.

At GL Assessment, we are passionate about the role we play in supporting schools to grow children to their best potential. We do this by providing assessment solutions which helps teachers learn more about their pupils so they can find the best way to teach them.

We are the leading UK provider in what we do and growing fast internationally – at the last count we have delivered over 7 million online tests across the globe. However this only accounts for 1% of the children in the world. Our mission is to ensure all children have the best possible start by having access to our education tools.

This is where you come in. We are looking for individuals to join our fantastic team to develop new business opportunities to enhance teaching, learning and assessment practises in schools.

You’ll be part of a team that strives to educate school leaders in the UK about the benefits of our highly regarded GL Assessment and Boardworks’ products for their staff and pupils. Woking term time only, you will be responsible for your region, a face to face role which is genuinely consultative – there are no call sheets or scripts!

What are we looking for?

Ambitious, credible and solutions orientated individuals with commercial acumen and an enterprising approach to selling. Ideally you will have proven sales success within the education sector; a solid understanding of the market is a must.

You will be people person and a team player with the ability to instil credibility and build long term relationships with our customers. This is a field based role, so you must be comfortable to lone work and proactively manage your diary.

You will need to live within a commutable distance from North London and will hold a valid driving license.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop qualified leads in large primary, secondary, multi academic trusts
  • Generating appointments with senior school leaders and visiting school sites
  • Provide bespoke solutions and identify cross selling opportunities tailored to each customer in order to meet and exceed set targets
  • Accountable for the delivery of the sales target within your region
  • Develop your plan to grow your region’s existing business revenue and drive new development opportunities


This is a permanent term time role, you won’t need to work school holidays.
