This online workshop is facilitated by Matthew Savage, Principal at The International Community School, Amman. Matthew has developed a worldwide expertise in the use and application of student-level data, and the GL assessment suite in particular, at schools and conferences across the globe. Either online or in person, hundreds of school leaders worldwide have worked with Matthew to ensure their school’s data has a palpable and positive impact on the learning and wellbeing of their students.
What will the course cover?
The function and format of GL’s three main assessment tools - CAT4, the Progress Tests and PASS:
The course is designed to meet the needs of teachers either new to the international school sector, or new to the GL assessment suite. It is an ideal introduction to these assessment tools, and will enable teachers to hit the ground running when they join a school already using them.
How does it work?
Each workshop lasts three weeks and requires a commitment of up to 5 hours per week, through an online portal. Participants can schedule their activity at times that are convenient for them, but should aim to engage early each week to take maximum advantage of the group dialogue.

The charge for these workshops is £165 per delegate. Please note: due to popular demand, registrations are currently restricted to two delegates per school.
Using CAT4 data effectively – this workshop will support those wanting to improve their knowledge of the CAT4 test.
Data Triangulation – this workshop provides practical guidance in how to develop a holistic approach to assessment throughout your school.
Using PT Series data effectively – this workshop will cover how to schedule and administer the PT Series tests effectively, as well as how to interpret and analyse the data to measure progress and improve outcomes.
