Singapore Workshop: Effective use of data to support teaching and learning

Singapore Workshop: Effective use of data to support teaching and learning

Wednesday 24 October, 09:00 - 13:00

A half day workshop that will help schools to fully utilise their data from standardised assessments to support teaching and learning.

Bernard Fawcett, International Consultant for GL Education, will outline how the best schools collect and use standardised data for every child.

With reference to reports from GL Education’s suite of assessments he will demonstrate how schools are triangulating data on students’ aptitude, attainment and attitudes to enable them to deliver a personalised learning experience.

Matthew Savage, Principal, The International Community School Amman, will draw from his experience of implementing these assessments at schools in Jordan, Thailand and Europe to offer guidance in how schools can plan and implement an effective assessment structure.

Practical, hands-on activities will then help delegates to see how the combination of datasets provides a detailed and revealing picture of each student.
