GL Education appoints David Glover as Product Director

International assessment provider, GL Education (GL), has appointed David Glover as its Product Director; a new senior executive position that combines product and technology development for GL’s UK and international businesses.

David joined GL three years ago as its Digital Programme Director, overseeing the development of its digital assessment platform, Testwise. Prior to GL, David worked in a variety of project and programme management roles in the education sector. This included 14 years at Cambridge Assessment, where he worked in marketing, assessment development and technology across their UK, international and English Language assessment businesses. He was responsible for the delivery of the first fully-online GCSE in 2007 and the first online A-level examination in 2008.

David said: “As digital assessment becomes a larger part of our business, I am delighted to get the opportunity to bring product and technology experts together under one roof. GL was an early pioneer of digital services in UK and international schools, and now I look forward to building on that leadership by making our assessments and analytics accessible and relevant right across the world.”
