GL Education wins the Bett Award for ICT Exporter of the Year


21 January 2016: GL Education has won a prestigious Bett Award 2016 in the ICT Exporter of the Year category. The trophy was collected by Chief Executive, Greg Watson, and International Director, James Neill, during a ceremony held at The Brewery in London last night.

The trophy is clear evidence of the success of the company’s educational assessments in global markets and recognises the diversification of GL Education from a UK business to an international education provider.

Greg Watson, Chief Executive of GL Education, said: “Education is becoming a global enterprise, with a growing exchange of tools and techniques between countries. Assessment has value worldwide as a means of generating data to support personalised learning, school improvement and national reform programmes. The benefit of GL Education’s assessments is that they are not curriculum dependent, and can be adapted to most curriculum requirements. The company’s digital testing platform also allows them to deliver the tests simply in any country from their UK base.
