Progress Test in Science (PTS) is a standardised assessment of pupils’ science knowledge including the three core areas of Physics, Chemistry and Biology as well as ‘working scientifically’. The test is designed for use year on year to support teachers in benchmarking students' science knowledge and measuring their progress over time. This can help in identifying those in need of extra help, as well as those who are particularly able.
